Northland
Lutheran Retirement Community is a church-related organization that
you can be confident has the capabilities of meeting the needs of persons
growing older in their retirement.
The Northland organization has been in
existence in Marinette, Wisconsin since 1917. [History page]
The
mission of the whole Northland program is to provide housing programs
with
support services and health care in meeting the needs of the population as
it grows older within the framework of a Christian environment.
The
Northland organization is a program of the Northern
Great Lakes Synod and the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), and is owned and operated by area
ELCA congregations and an AALC Lutheran congregation within Northeastern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. It
has several corporations with board members elected from these
congregations.
