Northland
Lutheran Home Health Services is a Medicare certified, state licensed home health agency which provides care to residents in Marinette and Menominee counties. Northland Home Health also participates in many PPO networks, and is a certified Blue Cross/Blue Shield provider. A full range of services is provided including skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health aide, and medical social services. All care is provided under the direction of the patient's physician.
Some of the care that can be provided in the home includes:
A referral for home health care can be made by anyone. A registered nurse will contact the patient's physician to determine whether home health might be indicated. Patients will be informed at the start of services about any payment for which they will be responsible. All billing to insurances, Medicare, and Medicaid is done by Northland Lutheran Home Health. Private pay services are also provided for those who are not eligible for Medicare or insurance coverage of care.
