Northland provides a variety of community services for
the safety and health of the wider community of the Marinette-Menominee
area.

Personal Response System
Lifeline™ |
One of Northland's community services is its
Lifeline™
program. It is an emergency response service installed in a person's home
that will automatically bring a responder to the place of an emergency.
This program has been in existence since 1983 and serves all of Marinette
and Menominee counties.

| Mobile Meals |
The Mobile Meals Program is a
vital community service to older people living in their homes. A good,
nutritious meal is important, but it is also important to have contact
with the recipient to let us know that they are managing each day. The
Mobile Meals Program started on a $1,000 grant and has operated throughout
the years without federal or state funding. The Meal Program is designed
for meal delivery to homebound residents who cannot go to the Senior
Center for their meals. Ninety volunteers are needed
each month to provide home meal delivery to community residents requesting
Mobile Meals. top of page |
